Give it a Week, Mama:
And so it begins!
Goals, week by week, focused in on motherhood, family, and self-improvement at home and in life as a mother and spouse. Challenging but doable. A week – anyone can do a week, right? I hope so!
I did not come up with this myself. Tons of people do monthly challenge (hello whole30!) or yearly resolution. But, I am totally inspired here by Brit Morin’s Give it a Week Challenge (at Brit & Co). I’d like to focus on my own improvements this year by following her method of giving everything “a week” instead of a whole month, or god forbid, trying to focus on a bunch of stuff all at once for 12 months.
A week is just enough time to adjust mindset, focus in, deep-dive while being short enough to implement and really execute on. I love the idea of “give it a week” – Brit did some super fun things that had to do with fitness, crafts, beauty, eating, etc. – while I am solely focusing on motherhood, parenthood, home life with children.
